CBCT
CBCT stands for "Cone Beam Computed Tomography"
This is often used for dentistry. It has distinguished image resolution, lower radiation dose and compact footprint compared to a typical overall full body CT scanner. These are the main reasons that CBCT is becoming common among clinics/hospitals. CBCT is useful for dental implant planning to evaluate bone height, thickness and density. CBCT is a rapidly expanding imaging modality and a tool for dental clinical evaluations.
